The AIRC charity auction is back (online)

It’s time for the annual appointment with the charity auction of the Tuscan Committee of the AIRC Foundation – one of the most important non-profits working in cancer research in Europe. The auction is now in its 35th year, and due to COVID-19, it will take place online from 23 November to 6 December. During this period the catalogue of the “timed” auction will be accessible to everyone on the platform of Pandolfini Casa d’Aste, historical partner of the initiative, where you can make your offer and win the lots for sale.

“We deeply admire the work of the AIRC Foundation”, says Francesco Ricasoli, “and for ten years we have been happy to be able to make our contribution to this important initiative of the Tuscan Committee. We wish the first virtual-only version of the auction great success, and we are sure that the online formula can involve even more participants, both in Italy and abroad, at a historic moment when the importance of research in the medical field has become more evident than ever.”

Ricasoli will participate in the auction with two extraordinary vintages of Castello di Brolio divided into two different lots: the first lot will include a

6 bottles of Castello di Brolio 2010, while the second a double magnum of 3 liters of the 2016 vintage. In addition, this year a Grand Cru Tour for two will also be donated for the auction. This is the most complete and exciting of our available tours: it includes a private visit to the Castle, vineyards and cellar, tasting of the most representative wines from our range, and lunch at the Osteria di Brolio.
